William Dixon was one of the original settlers of the Peterborough area, emigrating from England with his family in 1818. He built this house with stone from his quarry in what is now Jackson Park in 1837 on the foundation of his earlier 1829 house. During Doors Open, explore original features of this Georgian-style stone dwelling.
