Babcock Mill

The Babcock Mill, constructed in 1856, was originally owned by the Booth Family. It was intended to be a gristmill but was used as part of the Booth family's Woolen Mill instead as the Grand Trunk Railway transported cheaper flour. In 1907, the mill was sold to the Babcock family who used it to make beautiful baskets. The mill was later sold to Loyalist Township so you can explore the history of the Babcock Mill during Doors Open on June 17th!
