Motorista Studio is a unique events venue located near the former site of the Leaside Aerodrome in eastern Toronto. Starting off in 1917 as an aviation training camp for the Royal Flying Corps, the aerodrome would evolve to become Toronto's first commercial airport. Its airfield was also the landing site for Canada's first air mail service.

Although no remnants of the aerodrome's structures stand today, Motorista Studio was created with this local aviation heritage at its core.

Within Motorista's walls, interesting stories of the Leaside Aerodrome and the site's industrial roots are told through aviation-themed decor and special events designed to engage the community through creative and educational endeavours.
