This heritage hall opened in 1932 coinciding with the centennial celebrations of the Rideau Canal opening. A project of the Chaffey’s Lock Women’s Institute, the organization built the hall on money raised through dances, raffles, bake sales and through the generosity of local and summer residents. The Chaffey’s Lock Hall continues to be a beloved community space more than 90 years later!
