Originally established in 1992, Jami Omar Mosque was located within a renovated 2,000 square foot bungalow. In 2003 construction began on a new mosque located on the same property, and over a period of 15 years the new mosque was constructed at a size of approximately 50,000 square feet. The mosque provides various services to the community such as marriage, family counselling and funeral services.
