Historical Walking Tour: Rails, Roads and Restoration

Established as a Heritage Conservation District in 2024, Stouffville Junction North offers much to explore. Business began to boom here with the opening of the Toronto and Nipissing Railway in 1871. Come and learn about the district as well as the town’s Heritage Awards and Commemorative Plaque Program. The 1.5-hour tour has a limit of 30 people. Sturdy shoes recommended. (Photo: Stouffville Train Station, c. 1900, accession no. 991.043.150.)
