The last industrial plant built on the Grand River in Galt, the Riverside Silk Mill had large, open spaces flooded with natural light. Its industrial atmosphere, spacious interior and spectacular town and river views were enhanced in its School of Architecture transformation. Over 7,430 square metres (80,000 square feet), it also houses a restaurant and the Design at Riverside gallery.
