Knox United Church began in 1909 as a small, wooden building on Shuniah Street. The current brick building was completed in 1949 and Crittall Hall added in 1963. On January 1, 2019, Knox United amalgamated with Current River United and became Harmony United Church, which is an appropriate name for the congregations given their love of music and singing.
