South Simcoe Theatre, The

Located in Cookstown’s historical Old Town Hall, this theatre has occupied this building since 1983. Over the years, the building has been a temperance hall and a Presbyterian church as well. It was rebuilt in 1923 to become a community hall. This year, the theatre marks its 40th anniversary. Come and get a first-hand look behind the scenes.
