The Old Sidney Town Hall Park was proclaimed a historical site in 2009 to commemorate Wallbridge's distinction as home of Ontario's oldest municipal government. It was one of 500 historical places recommended by the National Trust for Canada to visit during Historic Places Days in July 2021.
