In 1979, local community members came together to establish a committee to support refugees, which grew into the New Canadians Centre (NCC). Today, the NCC is dedicated to supporting immigrants, refugees and other newcomers to the Peterborough area. Come and explore the NCC and its other tenants: St. James United Church, St. James Players and the Kawartha Youth Orchestra.
