Church of the Epiphany

As the St. Paul’s congregation grew, this church was constructed. The congregation moved to this new St. Paul’s in December 1879. Some of the congregation was displeased and wanted to return to the “Old St. Paul’s" church, which re-opened in May 1882. The building has a First World War rose window memorial that was installed in 1932.

Old St. Paul's Anglican Church

This designated church, constructed in 1834 shortly after the founding of the community, was funded by British naval officers Admiral Vansittart and his agent Captain Andrew Drew (who were partners on a farming estate here). During the Rebellion of 1837, the church also used as a jail. The chancel and transepts were added in 1843 and 1851 respectively.
