Holy Theotokos is a Greek Orthodox Convent (monastery) that produces 100 per cent pure beeswax candles. Spend time exploring the Convent Chapel and visit the candle shop for a chance at hands-on candle dipping. Also open will be the Convent's bake sale and food stands for a chance to try some of their amazing Greek pastries and souvlaki.

Of all sites in Southern Ontario that have been almost completely excavated, it is considered one of the largest and most complex. Explore and learn about this amazing archaeological site with self-guided tours and a staffed interpretation table.

Founded in 1979, the Latcham Art Centre is Stouffville's only public art gallery. During Doors Open, the Centre will showcase a free art activity, a “meet the curator” opportunity to learn about how an art exhibition is assembled and installed, a tour of the studio, and the chance to take part in a large collaborative art piece!

Ocean Nursery bursts with varieties of annuals, perennials, shrubs, fruit trees and more! During Doors Open, visitors can enjoy free workshops on garden design, attend a demonstration on how to efficiently plant trees, enjoy discounts on plants, garden and landscape supplies, and walk away with a free garden ornament!

Adults and children alike come to Richmond Hill Live Steamers to ride on one of their miniature railways! This outdoor model railway, run by hobbyists and engineers, features several gauges of trains running on steam, gasoline and electric power, based on real engines dating back to the 1820s. Faithfully restored to match the heritage features at the time of its original construction, Stouffville Junction features a hand-cut slate roof and brick restored to its original colour and style. Explore Stouffville Junction (ground floor only) and view large, historical photographs on display depicting the building along Main Street over its lifetime, as well as original building features.

Established in 1842 as the Stouffville Congregational Church and later purchased by the Christian Church in 1903, this site celebrates its 180th anniversary during Doors Open this year! Come and enjoy a guided tour of the church and revel in its Gothic revival architectural style, browse exhibits and watch featured videos.

Visit the Whitchurch-Stouffville Fitness Centre for a free trial of a gym membership, including a tour of all that the facility has to offer, and live equipment demonstrations. In the adjacent Memorial Park Band Shelter, join the Fitness Centre's free Outdoor Group Fitness Day (weather pending)! Four classes will be hosted in the park, with free giveaways provided.

Located in the hamlet of Vandorf, the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre preserves the town's rich heritage. Come and explore the museum by rotating through the Log Cabin, Victorian Farmhouse, Barn and Schoolhouse galleries with interpretation by museum staff and volunteers. The Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library traces its history back to 1877 when it was first established in Allan's Jewelry Store, then as the Mechanic's Institute, and finally as a free public library in 1899. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the library's boardroom, Makerspace and recording studio.
