As part of its comprehensive waste management strategy, the City maintains a fully functional, publicly accessible leaf and yard waste composting facility. Composting provides many benefits by diverting organic waste from disposal and returning important nutrients to the soil. Leaf and yard waste accepted at this site undergoes a phased process to produce the final compost after meeting mandatory standards.
