Rideau Hall is the official residence and workplace of Canada’s Governor General. This National Historic Site has nearly two centuries of history, and has become an important gathering place and site of official activities. Following many additions and alterations, the grounds, the building and its interiors have evolved to reflect and reinforce Rideau Hall’s identity as a national symbol.
