The Rideau Township Archives began as North Gower’s town hall in 1876 until new township offices opened in 1967. It is interesting for its history and its architecture – featuring an unusual cupola. After being restored, it was among the first of the township’s buildings to be designated. The current exhibit features this initial revitalization in the 1980s.
