The Baines Machine Shop has changed little since it opened 1914 – and is one of the few remaining machine shops that uses methods and machinery of the era. There are huge lathes and milling machines driven by flat belts overhead. And old oil well parts and equipment are still worked in the same way as during the oil boom days.
