For over a century, Canadians have relied on the forces of electricity to power the tools with which they communicate. Rebuilt in 1997, the Fenelon Falls Generating Station – a 2.6 megawatt hydroelectric station – supplies electricity to approximately 2,000 homes in the City of Kawartha Lakes (depending on the time of the year). During Doors Open, interior tours are scheduled.
