Take a step back in time and visit the Robert McCausland Community Centre in Gooderham to view photos of the past. Settled in 1873, Gooderham’s main industry was logging. Today, M.W. Hunter Lumber Ltd. is the only major sawmill left operating in the county. Currently, Gooderham is home to more than 700 full-time and hundreds of seasonal residents.
