North America's Smallest Jailhouse

Built in 1898, this jail measures only 4.8 metres by 6 metres (15.7 feet by 19.7 feet). It originally held three cells and a lobby area and operated for 50 years before closing due to a lack of local crime. Although today the jail is used as a visitor information centre, you can still get your picture taken behind bars!
