The Bancroft Village Playhouse is a beautiful 184 seat theatre that has been hosting plays, musicals and concerts since the early 1990s. Formerly the Bancroft Community Hall, this historical building was once the local jail, courthouse and library. Currently leased by the Tweed & Company Theatre, the venue is once more showcasing theatre, music and local arts-based community groups.
