Acton - Moorecroft (Beatty House)

Moorecroft was designed by Toronto architect J.A. Ellis and built by John Cameron in 1896. The house has an irregular asymmetrical silhouette with two-storey bays, multi-sloped roofs and tall decorated chimneys, typical of the Queen Ann style. Interior features include a formal dining room with sculpted crown molding, crystal chandelier and elegant Victorian fireplace.
