It is believed that services were held in the Norval area by travelling missionaries as early as 1830. At an 1845 vestry meeting in the schoolhouse, it was decided that a church should be built. This simple wooden church was soon constructed. It remains an active site for today’s congregation and boasts a stained-glass window by Georgetown artist Marjorie Nazer.
