The Seed Warehouse, a stone structure built in the 1860s, became Massey-Ferguson Farm Supply. In an 1855 fire, a huge safe fell through the floor to the basement, where it remains today. Around 1924, Ackers Furniture moved in, added two floors and remained until 2016. With Chalmers Community Services Centre, the building is now a collaborative workspace and community hub.
