St. John's Presbyterian Church

The congregation has its roots tracing back to the earliest settlements in Eastern Ontario, with connections to John Bethune. First worshiping in a log structure, they then moved to a larger clapboard one. This third church, built in 1889 (architect S.A. Badgley), features Romanesque Revival architecture and is known for its many beautiful stained-glass windows.
