This parish was founded in 1976 to serve Brampton’s Ukrainian Catholics. The site was purchased in 1986, chartered as a cemetery in 1993, with a temple built in 1995. The silhouette seen from Heritage Road and Bovaird Drive replicates churches found in the Carpathian region of Ukraine. The original timber structure burned down in 2014 and was rebuilt in 2016.
