The Pinnacle Playhouse, originally named the D.L. Storey Building, was built circa 1939 as a Salvation Army barracks. In 1969, the expanding Salvation Army sold their barracks to the City of Belleville, and since then, it has been home to the Belleville Theatre Guild.
