Kitchener Public Utilities Commission Building (John MacDonald Architect studio)

John MacDonald Architect invites you to explore their studio and the interior of this three-storey Art Deco heritage building, constructed in 1931-32. It housed the offices of the Kitchener Public Utilities Commission which ran the street railway between Kitchener and Waterloo. (Street railways operated in Waterloo County 1886 - 1946.) It's one of the few remaining public buildings from Kitchener's early days.
