The Great Lakes Métis Council is a local chartered community council committed to fostering community development and empowerment for Métis citizens. The organization oversees services to the Métis community, including: educational services, economic development, genealogy and the Urban Multi-Purpose Aboriginal Youth Centre. Some of the programs offered include: Aboriginal Healing and Wellness Program, Employment and Training and Infinity Property Services.
