This innovative LEED platinum-certified building creates more energy than it uses. Functioning as the hub for York Region Forestry’s educational programming, this centre was built using local and recycled materials. Guided and self-guided tours of the facility are available. Nature-themed arts and crafts will be offered for families and youth, including building a small bird feeder to take home.
