Info from the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville

The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville has extended the closure of facilities and all outdoor recreation amenities until the province’s directive is lifted. Because of the facility closures, all spring programs are being cancelled as well as all special events being held throughout the months of May and June, which includes Doors Open Whitchurch-Stouffville.

Trails and green spaces are open for families who respect the two-meter distancing requirements. The Town continues to urge residents to stay home and recreate in the safety of their own backyards.

Learn about how some of these hamlets got their names, and see some of the heritage buildings that remain standing and in use today. The tour can be found on Page 26 of this PDF.
