The Spencer School Community Centre stands on the original location of a log schoolhouse (replaced in 1877 by the current building) that served rural residents northwest of Brooklin. The school closed in 1965 but reopened in 1967 as this community centre. During Doors Open, join a professional archaeological team and see what treasures you might find in the school yard.
