Black Bridge Doors Open Waterloo Region
Gather at the west end of the heritage-designated Black Bridge to learn about this and other significant bridges from Lindsay Benjamin, lead author of Arch, Truss and Beam: The Grand River Watershed Heritage Bridge Inventory. Restored in 1996, Black Bridge is a rare single-lane steel Pratt through-truss bridge, spanning the Speed River. Talks at 10 and 11 a.m. only.
