The 2010 restoration of The Tremont – a former tavern built in 1889 – revitalized an important designated building in the Collingwood Heritage District. Original architectural details include segmental-arch apertures and stepped pilasters. The Tremont now provides studio and live/work space for the creative sector – housing nine artist studios, a gallery space, four residences and the Tremont Café.
