McLaughlin Bandshell Doors Open Oshawa
This bandshell, set in downtown Oshawa, was a gift from R.S. McLaughlin, founder of General Motors Canada, in 1942 to the City of Oshawa. During Doors Open Oshawa, Brass Day workshops may be observed culminating in a concert at 2:30 p.m. Set in Memorial Park, there is also a cenotaph containing stones of allied nations.
