Built in 2016, Oshawa's newest fire hall has the latest technology while its design reflects the history of the area – from a volunteer department with a hand pump to state-of-the-art facilities. Built on the former Windfields Farm lands (the birthplace of champion racehorse Northern Dancer), the building also reflects the area's agricultural history.
