Grosvenor Lodge

Welcome to Grosvenor Lodge – home to the Architectural Conservancy Ontario – London Region! This house, built in 1853 for Samuel and Ann Peters, was constructed in the Tudor Gothic style, with such noteworthy architectural elements as beautiful locally crafted stained-glass windows, wide-planked floors, the stonework of the gables and windows, and the Gothic revival fireplace in the dining room. In honour of Doors Open London's 20th anniversary, ACO London Region offers you a virtual behind-the-scenes look at 20 examples of striking heritage architecture in the London area. You'll hear short stories about each building's construction or occupants, see interesting exteriors and/or interiors, and learn why these buildings made the "top 20" list. Now a popular wedding venue, Grosvenor Lodge is owned and operated by the Heritage London Foundation.
