Get a close-up look at a working dam, visit the flood control centre, and learn how the GRCA manages water resources for almost one million people: reducing flood damage, providing access to outdoor spaces, sharing environmental information, and making the Grand River watershed more resilient to climate change. An illustrated 11 a.m. talk will survey the local history of waterpower.
