Wellwood Juravinski House Doors Open Hamilton

Wellwood Juravinski House

Wellwood is a bright, beautiful, safe space that celebrates living well with cancer. Visitors can enjoy the architecture, clerestory windows, original art and a featured exhibit of paintings by Ancaster’s Michelle Guitard. Wellwood occupies a remnant of the original Mountain (Tuberculosis) Sanatorium and subsequent Chedoke Hospital site. Outdoor landmarks include an Inuksuk – a tribute to the 1,274 Inuit sanatorium patients.
