Bruce County (Walkerton) Gaol Doors Open Brockton

Bruce County (Walkerton) Gaol

The Gaol (jail) was built in 1867, operated for almost 144 years and closed in 2011. Retrace the footsteps of famous inmates such as John Haag, who is rumoured to have survived his hanging. See if you can figure out how escape artist Mickey McArthur got out. Capture your best “cell-fie” in one of the original jail cells!
