This building is all that remains of the 1902 McQuay Tanning Co., who produced fine-grade leather and harnesses that were shipped across Canada and internationally. The building, an example of post-Second World War modern architecture, today houses the Active Lifestyles Centre Grey Bruce, a not-for-profit organization that provides leadership, socialization, programs and activities to support healthy lifestyles and independence.
