Bethesda Evangelical Lutheran Church Doors Open Markham
The Bethesda Evangelical Lutheran Church is one of York Region’s longest-established churches. Today, the church remains a centre of worship for descendants of these founding Markham families. The present building dates from 1910, incorporating materials from the earlier church. Visitors can admire the early 20th-century Gothic revival interior with beautiful memorial windows and a century-old pipe organ.
