Richmond Hill Heritage Centre (Amos Wright House)

Amos Wright, Markham Township’s first reeve, built this house in 1840. Today, this well-preserved Ontario regency-style cottage is home to the Richmond Hill Heritage Centre and is surrounded by picturesque Amos Wright Park. On exhibit: 125 Years of Slovak Immigration to Canada and A Lifetime Day By Day. A special Mother's Day tea will also be held (reservations required).
