This bandshell, set in downtown Oshawa, was a gift from R.S. McLaughlin, founder of General Motors Canada, in 1942 to the City of Oshawa. During Doors Open Oshawa, performances by the Oshawa Civic Band and guided tours will showcase the unique building. Set in Memorial Park, there is also a cenotaph containing stones of allied nations.
