Fort Willow

During the War of 1812, this fort was a supply depot that marked the half-way point between Kempenfelt Bay and the Nottawasaga River. The Festival at Fort Willow highlights life as a British soldier in 1812 in a camp setting. Visitors can enjoy re-enactors as they demonstrate their daily tasks – which include blacksmithing, musket ball making and rope making.
