Constructed in the 1960s, this is a direct filtration surface water treatment plant that draws its water from Georgian Bay, serving approximately 22,000 people with a capacity of serving 40,000. Tours will start in the parking lot, where visitors will get a brief history of the site’s operations. Discover every step involved in creating safe drinking water.
