Beckta is a landmark fine-dining restaurant that relocated to the historical Grant House in November 2014. The building has a heritage designation for both the exterior and interior; it was the home and workplace of Dr. James Grant, Canada’s first Surgeon General. The building has also housed the University Club of Ottawa as well as Friday’s Roast Beef House.
