Thomas Chew, a local miller, built this house for his family who lived here until 1937. It has been lovingly restored and was designated in 2013. Note the grand foyer entrance, original fireplaces, lead- and stained-glass windows, original built-in cabinetry, pocket doors, dramatic grand staircase, a large wraparound front porch, and lovely views of Georgian Bay from the upstairs bedrooms.
