The Parkinson Fire Station opened on October 1, 1974 with fire captain as master of ceremonies. The building housed the headquarters for the city’s fire department and aerial truck that the city had then just bought. In 2019, you can tour the newly finished expansion (offices, training facilities, reception area and more) and explore the 1920s fire truck.
